Meeting in Haskovo - part 1 |
 This is part 1 "Vienna at night" of the photo report from our final Comenius meeting that took place in Haskovo in the end of May and beginning of June of 2008. We are very grateful to Slaweja Dimitrova and all her colleagues for preparing this meeting in the time when national examinations in Bulgaria took place. Although it was only a 3-day meeting, the programme was very rich and interesting. We all hope that we will keep in touch! Nevruz, a combination of Persian words Nev (New) and Ruz (Day), means the new day and it is celebrated as New Year's day by Turks living in Central Asia, by Anatolian Turks and Persians. It is March 22nd according to the western and March 9th according to the moslem calendars, when the day and night are equal.
